This model fits all Sennheiser SKM transmitters from the EW-D, EW-DX, G3 and G4 analogue systems.
Studio-Quality Supercardioid Capsule
With
a built-in roll off filter and smooth 80 Hz to 20 kHz frequency
response, the KK 105 U condenser capsule yields a transparent vocal
sound with an airy top-end, providing studio-quality sound for live
performances. The supercardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes
noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone without
coloration, helping to focus audio capture tightly on the performer and
keep feedback from monitors under control.
Stage-Ready Performance
The
capsule can handle SPLs up to 150 dB with a 0.5% total harmonic
distortion and up to 155 dB with 3% THD. The integrated shockmount
isolates the mic capsule from handling noise, while the built-in pop
protector helps to reduce plosive sounds and vocal pops.
