The Shure DH5 DuraPlex Omni Headset Microphone is a compact headset microphone designed for professional use. It is
equipped with a TA4F connector that is compatible with Shure wireless
bodypack transmitters.

This omnidirectional microphone offers a neutral,
full-range sound that is perfect for capturing speech, dialogue, and
singing in various applications such as broadcast, presentations, and
theatre.
The DH5 DuraPlex features a 5mm miniature capsule mounted on a
silicone boom pivot system, allowing it to be discreetly positioned on
either the left or right ear. With its high gain before feedback
capability, this microphone is well-suited for use in events with loud
sound reinforcement, ensuring clear and intelligible speech and
dialogue. Additionally, the mic comes with a presence cap that enhances
the 10 kHz range by approximately 3 to 4 dB, compensating for any
potential loss of high end when adjusting its position.
Durability is a key feature of the DH5 DuraPlex. It is built to
withstand adverse conditions and is equipped with a rugged, 1.6mm Shure
Plex cable that can be painted for further customisation. The cable also
boasts a dual-redundant ground, acting as a secondary shield to provide
exceptional durability and protection against memory effect and kinks.
