The
CDX-16 represents an alternative to traditional CD players by allowing
users to create their own mix. The dual CD console includes a digital
display, fine pitch control fader with +/-10% range, plus a
quartz-locked pitch controller with +/-8 or 16% range. Pitch bend and
scan/search functions are on a joystick for rapid adjustment, fast
find, and rapid cue capability. Buffer memory and an anti-vibration
mechanism eliminate skipping and jumping.
The
2-channel mixer section offers a 2-band EQ and CD, phono and line
inputs, plus a microphone-level input. Outputs include mono and stereo
mix outputs, line level, and headphone outputs. The crossfader is user
replaceable.
