materials, new windshield construction - and retains all the renowned
Rycote features of flexibility, balance and professional performance.
It is lightweight with a minimum of parts, tough enough to withstand
the rigours of ENG and simple to use straight out of the box - with the
XLR cable supplied.
Includes cable fitted with Neutrik NC3 (XLR-style) connectors.

Cable/Connectors Specification
Balanced microphone twin with ultra-fine stranded copper cores (18 x 0.1mm) and a helical screen
3mm soft PVC jacket for high flexibility even at low temperatures
3-pin Neutrik NC3 (XLR-style) connectors with gold-finished pins
For
microphones with 5-pin XLR outputs the S-series cable will not fit. At
this time we do not provide a 5-pin XLR cable option.

S-series windshield (windscreen)
The windshield (windscreen) uses pairs of “Pods” which twist-lock to the chassis ring
All pods are 100mm (4”) diameter but come in three different lengths (see sizes below)
Four kit sizes combine the Pods to house microphones from <200mm (8”) to a maximum of 410mm (16”)
The acoustic fur covering (30mm staple) is integral and can give >30dB windnoise suppression (100-500Hz)
