Professional Lo-Z, balanced mirophone inputs. 1/4" Hi-Z inputs for semi-pro microphones and instruments. Use the Lo-EQ, to control cardioid mic proximity effect, where voices become boomy in close mic situations,or to boost the low end in a musical and controlled way with minimum un-natural colouration and boominess. Use the high EQ to add 'air' and 'openness' to an instrument or articulation to a voice, without the all too frequent harshness found in other systems.
RCA tape inputs to the master section, that sum together left and right signals so everyone can hear both channels and you still have all your channel inputs available for mics and instruments.
Master EQ for system equalisation: The sophisticated EQ circuit design gives a quasi-parametric equalisation funtion. The EQ curves automatically change "Q" depending on how much or how little boost or cut you can use. This result in superior sound quality when gently boosting or cutting frequency ranges for tonal balance, or the "Q" of filters becomes much steeper for more localized control of boost and cut in critcal circumstances. the effect of these filters is to give considerbly more control and superior sound quality from only a three band equaliser.
