The DLX Series subwoofers have high pass outputs (in FULL RANGE mode) to allow you to keep your equipment count low and your flexibility high – One channel of an amplifier with a kicking full range system attached.

The DLX-218B is a straight forward, no nonsense 18-inch bass double reflex subwoofer with exceptional low frequency response. With a dual chamber bass reflex bass cabinet, the switch on the input panel allows you to use the DLX-218 as a dual subwoofer at 4 ohms or by switching to discrete mode, the DLX-218B acts as two separate woofers – each at 8 ohms and with their own input signal and frequency shaping.

DLX™ Series - New generation of LX

Since launch, the LX Series has been proved a big success for our distributors around the world. The Wharfedale Pro recently introduced its next generation – the DLX™, a series of high power, high performance, and passive enclosures with switch-able bi amp mode.

The DLX™ Series combines large-format drivers with Wharfedale Pro’s largest Elliptical Wave Guide (EWG) technology, a new improved woofer with the overall power handling around 25% higher than the LX. The high quality, high excursion, custom cast frame LF driver provides warm and open mid range and punchy low end.

DLX™ Mid/hi enclosures come with an externally switchable Bi-amp mode that bypasses the crossover network, connecting +1/-1 directly to the woofer and +2/-2 directly to the tweeter. DLX Subwoofers feature a bi-amp switch, which bypasses the passive network for reduced losses when using an external active crossover. DLX™ also features modular, symmetrically ported subwoofers for simple construction of parallel subwoofer arrays.
